Now open for applications: a free seven-week Skills Accelerator in early 2026, giving West Midlands residents the chance to break into a career in television. Delivered in partnership with Shine TV (MasterChef, Hunted) and Mission Accomplished, the course is aimed at adults who may be working in other careers but have always wanted to work behind the camera.
No previous TV experience is needed. We’re looking for people with transferable skills who enjoy working with others and want to learn the fundamentals of television casting. Training will take place during weekday evenings and weekends.
Those who successfully complete the course will be guaranteed an interview to work on the next series of MasterChef, now produced in Birmingham at Digbeth Loc Studios.
