Use your ScreenSkills Passport in our pilot project to help us better understand the
West Midlands screen workforce
Create Central is working with ScreenSkills on a pilot to test how their Training Passport can be used to gather data to understand more details about people working on productions in the West Midlands and plan training more accurately to fill skills gaps.
The Training Passport is the industry-approved digital record for freelancers of the essential compliance training you've completed, so you don't need to repeat it every time you start work on a new production.
It's also a digital record for employers and productions to check and manage which of their crew or staff have or haven't done their training. Completing the training modules from the Passport makes you ready to start work more quickly on productions shooting in the West Midlands and beyond!
ScreenSkills is testing using the Passport to find out more (anonymised) information about people working on productions in the region, what skills shortages there are, where people live and how much experience they have.
Please click here to complete the core two modules from the Passport - or to confirm you've done them already.
Once you've done this, please fill in your most recent job title - so we can get a better understanding of who works in what roles on West Midlands productions.
Please complete/confirm your training and fill in this information by 31 October, so we can gather this data as part of our broader project report.
